Friends of the Library

Your Library needs You! The Valleyview Friends of the Library helps raise funds for our library so that we can have additional programs, equipment, etc. The Friends of the Library is very important to the survival of our Library as we know it.

The Friends of the Library are always looking for motivated people who are willing to take on leadership roles as well as people to help out with volunteer work, fund-raising, helping bring public awareness and other projects. This group performs a very valuable function and is a lot of fun. If you would like to be part of this group, contact the Library at 780-524-3033 or drop in to a meeting.

Friends Meetings for 2016 will be held the third Friday of each the Library (780) 524-3033 to check the date, in case it is cancelled due to weather.

Be a Library Volunteer!

You can also be a friend to the Library by volunteering. There is always something to do at the Library and we appreciate our volunteers! Donations in Memory of a Loved One

If you would like to make a donation in memory of a loved one who has passed away, the Library gratefully accepts donations of cash. Our Friends of the Library are currently working on creating an 'In Memory' program. Funds may be used to purchase a special favourite book, a magazine subscription, or to purchase items for a designated area of the Library. If you wish to donate funds to the Library, you may contact the Library directly, or you may request that the Valleyview Chapel of Memories indicate this on the individual's memorial card.
